- Robin Atherton
- Scott Bishop
Scriptures used:
- Matthew 25
- Hebrews 12: 6-13
Subject:
- Our difficulty in organizing and prioritizing things and coming to the understanding of the need to go to the Lord and seek him to organize and prioritize.
- God does things differently and how we think we are serving him when we are serving ourselves.
- To trust even when we don’t see the end but go forth by faith. Seek God first and his righteousness. Humbling to recognize and do so.
- Putting more and more of our faith on him and moving forward to serve him how he wants us to serve him.
- Peace comes from doing today’s work and not worrying about yesterday or tomorrow.
- Seek to be a servant who the Lord will call faithful and exhorting one another to do the same.
- One accord lacks judgment of one another.
- Taking responsibility of that which we are given to do. May mean we ask for help, instruction, etc. but believing that I can do what I am asked to do and do it completely.
- Learning to be diligent, learning his ways.
- We cannot come into one accord until we quit serving ourselves and choose rather to serve God.
- We exercise our faith in the Lordship of God in our daily walk: in our homes, work places and under discipleship.
- Watch as though we will be held accountable for each day’s service.
- God chastens those he loves for our profit that we may partake of his holiness.
- To serve and overcome in the Lord, no longer being lame but rather being healed.
- Are we profitable for God?
- A faithful person is trustworthy: a good steward of the task that the Lord, our husband, our parent, our boss has given us.
- We don’t know the day and the hour that Jesus is coming. Noah, moved with fear, prepared the ark. Are we ready to meet God?
- We are to make plain God’s existence through our faithful walk.
- Paul wrote both the revelation of God and gave testimony of the fight it takes to serve God.
