Being the living sacrifice is giving yourself daily to those who are without and those who are within.
Jesus said if they hate you they hated me first.
Don’t you know I (Jesus) have overcome the world?
When we are in Him, we can rest in what He has done.
Jesus was the living sacrifice for us and we need to be a living sacrifice for others and for those in the fellowship.
Why? Those who have received the Holy Spirit are a royal priesthood, they take the sins off of others and offer them to God.
This is how we have victory. This is how we overcome.
It is our job to be a holy nation, that is one people.
How can you show forth the praises of God, when it is all about you?
If you’re asked to do a job by those in authority, and you don’t have the joy, you missed something.
If you don’t want to or don’t like doing the task, then you do not want to serve Jesus Christ.
If you’re serving the Lord and the joy is not there, the problem is not with God, it is with you.
You need to get over yourself so you can get into Christ. Then you can show forth His praises. Then you can be His vessel to heal the sick, to cast out devils, to open the eyes of the blind, to open ears of the deaf, to make the lame to walk, then you’re worthy because your worthiness is in Him and not in yourself.
You cannot live in the light of Christ as long as you are coveting the world and coveting yourself.
Examine yourself. Where are you? Do you want to be in His light?
Jesus doesn’t need you. You need Jesus.
