Subject:
- If you say you love the Lord but don’t do what He asks of you, then you are a liar.
- You can’t disappoint or surprise God because He already knows what you are. You are a sinner.
- Trust what the Lord tells you to do even if you don’t understand why. It wouldn’t be faith if you knew why to begin with.
- In the natural we will believe in our own ability to deal with issues and fix what is wrong. That is the wrong thing to do. Trust in God’s ability to handle what needs to be fixed.
- As people we also look too much at our inability to be able to deal with the things in life and then live in frustration. God’s ability is the way out of that.
- Bring your issues to Jesus and bring them to the light so they can be dealt with. Jesus won’t kick you for the things you’ve done wrong. He wants to help you.
- You can’t disappoint God but you can, however, please Him. All it takes is to agree with Him.
- Have a healthy fear of the Lord. It’s not a fear of getting beaten when you do wrong, it’s a fear of what God can do if you continue in disobedience and can end up in hell.
- Resisting the authorities that God has set in place will also bring you damnation. It is the same as resisting God Himself.
- God does not look to destroy a person, God is looking to give a person life.
