Subject:

  • The goodness of God is that we can partake in the grace and the mercy of our Heavenly Father but, that does not give us the green light to sin more, it is the chance to learn how to please Him.
  • To learn how to be obedient to Him while we are here, so we can be obedient in His Kingdom which is heaven.
  • Because there is no more grace to cover our sin in heaven.  There is grace only here.  In heaven we will be expected to behave correctly because we learned to do that here on earth.  That is what we are here for.  To learn obedience to God.  We are not here to pay bills and taxes and then die not knowing what’s going to happen to us.  Take advantage of the opportunity God gives you to get turned around and let Him teach you His ways while your heart is still beating.  It will be too late if you wait until you see Him in person!
  • Our natural mind is at enmity with God.  We are cursed and, by nature, are enemies who think against God.
  • What is God looking for in a servant?  One who will believe Him!  Really very simple.  Believe His Word.  Rely on His understanding and ability to accomplish a thing and not your own.
  • Hold every thought captive to the obedience of Jesus and cast off anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ.  It is a choice to believe God regardless of what you see or understand.
  • Salt was used on food, before refrigeration, to keep it from spoiling so fast, (hold back corruption).  The church, the body of believers, are to be “salty” to hold back the corruption in the earth.  To speak the Word of God and to stand in word and faith so God can move.  God moves to back up His Word and show that it is true.  God doesn’t move to prove anybody else to be right.
  • The fight starts with ourselves in our own mind.  We must fight to choose to serve God and fight against our flesh and carnal mind.  We need to win that fight before fighting against anybody else.  People, by nature, think that the fight is people vs people and trying to convince others that they are wrong and we are right.  God is right!  We are wrong!  Until you get that concept down there is no point in fighting anything else.  The revival starts with you.
  • There is no reason to be disconnected from God unless you have chosen that’s how you want it.  The Lord is at hand and right there for you.  If there is a disconnect, it’s your own fault.
  • It doesn’t matter who you are or what you have done in the past, the grace of God and the blood of Christ can cover it.  Look at some of the folks in the old testament.  Moses, King David, Samson, Rahab.  They were guilty of murder or adultery or prostitution and yet were saved because of faith.  They believed God that, even after doing these things, He was still able to save them.  When Jesus died on the cross to cover our sins, our sins were covered!  PERIOD!  All you need to do is receive that and believe it!
