TFM-Hour-of-TruthSpeakers:

  • Phillip Walthall
  • Paul Muller
  • James Eutsler

Scriptures used:

  • Romans 5:8
  • Romans 10:21
  • Philippians 4:13
  • Philippians 2:14
  • John 14:6
  • Matthew 5:11-12
  • Hebrews 12:1-8

Subject:

  • Don’t sit back and wait for God to show you something, step out in faith in God’s Word so God can move.
  • God is not obligated to move on our behalf but God is committed to move upon His commitment.
  • God loved us and died for us while we were yet sinners.
  • Without Gods intervention we would never know of His deliverance from the bondage we are in without Him.
  • It is the choice of each person to reach out and take the Lord’s hand.  God will not force Himself on people.
  • If you reject God you will not get the provisions and good things God has for you.  The rejection of God will lead to darkness and death.
  • In order to partake in the victory that Jesus has already obtained, you must step out and trust Him and believe Him and step out in faith according to His Word.
  • Faith is not shown by words but by works.  Your actions will show your faith, words are only words.
  • It is up to you to lay aside and fight against the sin that comes upon you.  God will not do it for you.
  • Do all things without murmuring or disputing.  It doesn’t profit anything to do what you’re told if you’re going to have an attitude and complain about having to do it.  The Lord will not honor that.
  • Jesus will not hear a “poor me” attitude about getting a bad deal with anything.  It is usually our own actions and decisions that bring about bad consequences and it is our own fault.  Jesus, on the other hand, got the worst deal anybody ever got.  He was without sin, had done nothing wrong, and only did good works and faced the worst persecution and death that any man could face.
  • Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.  Think about these three words (way, truth, life).  Jesus is the reason we exist.
  • Rejoice and be exceeding glad when you are reviled and persecuted for Jesus’ sake.  For great is your reward in heaven.  If you choose to serve Jesus you will face persecution for it in some way, shape or form.
  • God does not chasten those who are His in order to be mean, but it is for our good, just as a loving father will correct his children to get them on the right path and teach them right from wrong.
