Making mistakes is how we learn and find out what not to do. It is not a place of faith if you try to avoid messing up by not saying or doing anything. That is what Gods grace and mercy is for, it covers our mistakes.
Making a lot of mistakes does not keep God from yet being able to use you for His purpose. God will still love you in the midst of your screw ups.
Your faith will be tried. Let it not be a surprise when it happens for it is how we learn to give praise and honor unto Jesus at His appearing.
You serve the Lord because you love the Lord and want to please Him. To love the Lord is to keep His commandments and do what He asks.
You cannot serve God with the flesh. The flesh serves the law of sin. However, it is with your mind that you choose to serve the law of God.
Jesus does not bind us up. The enemy who kills, steals, and destroys is the one who binds us up.
Having a proper fear of the Lord is a healthy fear. It is not about living in fear of being punished by God but understanding that God is the one who has the power to send both body and soul into hell. It is a fear that keeps us on the right path.
It is so easy to fall into unbelief and convince ourselves that there is something that we cannot do or overcome. In Christ all things can be done and overcome.
God does not discriminate. God is not a respecter of persons. God does not care who you are in the world or how much you have or don’t have, or what race, sex, nationality, you are. Worldly success and popularity mean nothing to God. What God cares about is finding a people who will believe on His son Jesus Christ.
Jesus overcame the world and is above all that is in the world, so why would anything of the world be of any bother to those who are in Christ? If you are in Christ then you also are above the things of this world.
If you have truly turned your life over to Jesus then your life is now His to do with it as He sees fit to do with it. It is no longer about your agenda and what you want to do but about what He wants you to do.
