Speakers:

  • Paul Muller
  • Phillip Walthall
  • Robin Atherton

Scriptures used:

  • Hebrews 11
  • Hebrews 4
  • James 4

Subject:

  • If we really believed we would be provoked to stand on God.
  • Our natural man looks to find something with surety the only thing with surety is Christ.
  • It’s either all grace or it’s works.
  • If it’s all grace you stand empty, you understand theirs nothing about you that you bring to the table, but you stand as an empty vessel.
  • What the heck does it matter what the vessel is if we have nothing to offer?
  • Do you live believing he is the king of king and lord of lords?
  • If it’s you that you bring to the table, in your wisdom and knowledge, then you’re not even his yet. You don’t even know him.
  • How many times do you stop short and think good of yourself yet didn’t enter in?
  • Do you see yourself as a worthless piece of crap or do you look at yourself searching for something worthy?
  • Do you make excuses to rebel against God? Is someone else to blame for why you are the way you are?
  • We have nothing to offer. Not a thing.
  • Is it all grace or is it all works?
  • If you believe God you’re going to obey God, and there will be a difference in you. You won’t need to tell people about the difference they will see it because it will be all over you.
  • Are you going to be like the children of Israel or are you going to believe God?
  • Are we going to be the children that said yea, we can take that land?
  • Believe in the goodness and righteousness of God and his promises.
  • The proof of believing is obedience.
  • Your obedience to your authorities is your obedience to God. Get in line with that authority.
  • We are blessed to have the gifts of God. Are you going to humble yourself to him and receive all he has for you? Or are you going to go off in your pride and arrogance thinking there’s nothing he could offer you?
  • Are you coming to get it right or are you coming to punch the time clock? Make a choice!
  • Time to get serious about Christ!
  • Choose to diligently seek the Lord.
  • If you don’t believe God, you can’t please him.
  • Our default position is it’s all about us.
  • If I had hired someone to run my life and they acted like me I would have fired them long ago.
  • Understand it’s not about you but about how good the Lord is.
  • We receive his grace and we have nothing to offer.
  • Are you God’s enemy?
  • You’re either his friend or his enemy!
  • It’s easy to receive somebody that desires to give you something even if they have nothing, but someone who thinks they have something they don’t even want to give it away because they’re so selfish.
  • If we believed Christ it would be a joy to receive his word even if it’s against us at the time.
  • Sometimes the word is hard to receive but it’s always good.
  • The offer’s here now but not always.
  • Why should the devil flee if you’re not resisting?
  • If you don’t believe him, he can’t give you grace.
  • Purge from your hearts this day unbelief.
  • You can’t trust in yourself and believe him, therefore you can’t please him.
  • Even the faith was a gift. You need him. You need this grace. You need to resist unbelief, you need to resist the devil. Let him flee, you don’t need him. But you must choose this day! Choose to receive this grace. We’re called to be ministers for his grace.
  • Let the word cleanse your heart, purify your motives, fill your heart with love for him and others.
  • Take his hand and let him lift you up.
  • We need to come to Him empty and void of ourselves so that He may fill us.
  • As long as you think you are worthy, where is your need for Christ?
  • Are we going to believe God or trust in works righteousness?
  • The proof of believing is to obey.
  • We have the opportunity to get this right, now!
  • Choose this day whom ye will serve.  As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
  • If you don’t believe God, then you can’t please Him.
  • We stand nowhere unless we receive His grace.
  • It is easier to receive somebody who is willing to give, even if they have nothing to give.
  • The only person who matters is the Lord, lifting you up.
