Subject:
- Shew me thy ways. His mercy is new every morning. Thank the Lord for it. We use up our account of mercy every day.
- Open the eyes of my heart. If we ask Him to direct our paths, He gets the glory.
- It is easy for us to get busy. Take the time to be still and know that He is God.
- Our struggles are all different and our days are all different, but the Lord brings us to the same hope.
- If we know He is God for us, we know He is God for other people.
- From the beginning people opposed the people of God.
- How do I be still? It doesn’t come naturally.
- Get on your knees, and everything stops. It gets us oriented and is a humbling thing.
- Our ways are not His ways. Let us lay aside our ways.
- We need to have determination and a willingness to fight.
- Radical change is needed, and the Holy Spirit is the only one that can do it, it is so contrary to our natural man.
- Ps 25:4-5: Open up to me thy way, we should pray this every day.
- The offense of the cross has to be cast down: our self-images of goodness.
- Lead me in thy truth and teach me. We have to want to learn. This takes humility.
- Is He the God of our salvation, or are we?
- On thee do I wait all the day. He has to get our attention and is not pleased if we don’t wait upon Him. Humble yourself and want the things that He has for us. We have to ask.
- They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. (Is. 40:31)
- Tender mercy: if not ministered in tenderness we may not be able to receive it.
- Loving kindnesses. This is what the Lord is all about.
- He takes away the sins of our youth. He will teach sinners in the way. Ministers who go and got educated, are they qualified?
- How can you extend grace if you don’t receive it?
- Meek – no confidence in themselves. We can become great preachers. If you want to share the love of God, He will provide the strength.
- All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth – if we receive the truth we need mercy.
- Change our attitude, and be not afraid of the truth. The truth about us is not pretty.
- We need to prefer that truth over all the lies we have chosen to believe about ourselves.
