TFM-South-CarolinaSpeakers:

  • Paul Muller
  • Phillip Walthall
  • Scott Bishop

Scriptures used:

  • 1 Peter 5:1-11
  • 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

Subject:

  • Are you continuing to pull out that old dead cat?
  • If you go to the Lord with your troubles, He will take them away. Wouldn’t you rather be with the Lord without the baggage, then have the baggage and be without the Lord?
  • It’s all about Jesus.
  • Being a Christian isn’t about taking good people and making them better, each of us is a sinner. What He does is cover us with His grace, without that we’re condemned to eternal hell.
  • If we want the good things of God, we have to look to Him, seek Him, come to the realization that Jesus died even for you.
  • When you get to the point where you realize what He did on the cross freed even you, that you can believe and trust Him because He’s good. When you get to that point you can begin to share that love of Him to others.
  • We reject that grace sometimes because we think we don’t deserve it, we never deserved it.
  • The Lord takes our messed up situations, when we turn unto the Lord, He redeems the time. When He takes us out of the mire it’s an opportunity to testify unto others.
  • What stops us from continuing to move forward in the Lord? Unbelief.
  • Are we still going to choose to believe God? He’s given us everything we need, He’s shown us His character.
  • Don’t reject the grace of the Lord, accept it and grow in it.
  • We’re to take what He’s done for us, carry it out that others may partake of His goodness.
  • Those cares we hold onto make us stupid.
  • You’re training to be a solider.
  • Your old man wants to exalt itself against the knowledge of God.
  • Trust on Him and His worthiness!
  • When you cast all your cares on Him, you are free!
  • No you’re not worthy, you never will be, He loves you and cares for you.
  • Even while we were sinners He died for us.
  • He who the son sets free is free indeed.
