- If we’re going to be soldiers for Jesus Christ, we can’t be entangled with the affairs of this life. We have to consider ourselves dead to this flesh.
- Your mind needs to be renewed because it’s been subject to corrupt communication your whole life, now you’re trying to know God and agree with Him.
- The ultimate new man is Jesus Christ.
- It’s possible to speak the truth in a loving way. You don’t have to be hurtful when you’re speaking the truth.
- It’s about ministering Jesus and showing forth Jesus for others sake.
- We’re called to minister grace to one another. The abundance of grace and mercy we’ve received should be a reason to minister it to others.
- If you can’t get out of yourselves, and it’s all about you, then you’re a worker of iniquity.
- If your “do-gooding” is all about making yourself feel good, then it’s not about the Lord.
- It’s not about us, it’s about Him!
