Scriptures used:
- Philippians 4
- James 1:22
- James 2:14
Subject:
- The vast majority of people who call themselves Christians are deceived.
- If we are no different, how are they to know the truth?
- We need to be different.
- What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works can faith save him?
- For without faith It is impossible to please God.
- What is faith if it stands alone?
- This does not mean you have to start a soup kitchen, this means what good is your word if you say to someone who’s cold be warm and you don’t give them clothes?
- If you say you have faith in Jesus Christ and you don’t raise the dead, what good are you?
- Go into all the world and preach the gospel … As you go out in the world preach the gospel, if you have to, use words.
- He that believeth the gospel shall be saved, he that believeth not shall be damned. It’s simple.
- How do you know if you are saved? These signs shall a follow them that believe.
- Go in your closet and tell The Lord I want to stop being a hearer only I want to be a doer of the word and help thou mine unbelief and help me have faith to do those things you have for me to do.
- It doesn’t matter how long you have been a Christian, yesterday doesn’t count, today counts. Every day is a new beginning in Christ.
