Subject:
- Do you really want to know the Lord even if it is woe unto you? Is “I want to hear you” truly a prayer of yours? Even if the answer is “no”?
- If you endure chastening (the Lord saying no) it doesn’t feel good at the time but if you choose to hear it and walk in it, you will produce good fruit.
- Working out your own salvation with fear and trembling. The Lord provided for the children of Israel, even though they wanted to go back to leeks and onions. They murmured against the Lord. They were told woe unto you and they hardened their hearts. When that chastisement comes and you choose to not hear it, you are departing from the Living God with an evil heart of unbelief. Moses, Joshua and Caleb heard the chastisement of the Lord and repented. We get in by believing Jesus. We have a promise. The day you receive Jesus in your heart, you have that promise of eternal life in Him.
- In Isaiah chapter 1, offerings and sacrifices are brought without a repentant heart. Is 1:16 “Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil…” The blood of Jesus is the only thing that can clean you. Receive correction from His line of authority and harden not your hearts.
- Good Friday is supposed to be the day that Jesus was crucified. We know that just as Jonah was 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the whale, so was Jesus 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the earth. The math does not work out, there is no way that Jesus was crucified on Friday. Most Christians go to church on these days and celebrate what happened that day and it can’t possibly have happened on that day, how many other lies do they believe? They have nothing going on the rest of the year, so need to entertain Christians at least for the easter season while they have their attention. It is all vain. Their sins are as crimson, as Isaiah says. But it can all be washed away by the blood of the Lamb: every bit of vanity and what the churches have made it about other than what Christ did. But you have to repent and give up all the vanity. Cast it all off, can’t keep any of it. People need truth. The truth sets you free.
- They calculate easter from the spring equinox and wait the Sunday after the next full moon. There is nothing remotely like that in the Bible! Easter is a pagan holiday. The people who purvey this nonsense are right out of the pits of hell.
- Jesus was the Passover Lamb that takes away the sins of the world. Everything points to the cross. It only profits those who believe. The people who harden their hearts are those who want God to do their A person who recognizes their need for a savior is grateful for a loving God who died for them. And they know that they can have a new life in Him that exceeds any other life on this earth. That is the promise, and when you receive it you can’t help but rejoice and be thankful! You go forward in that new life, and don’t care about the old life. You can love others with the love of God, to share and minister that love is a wonderful thing!
- The Church of Philadelphia is holding back corruption, and will be taken out of the way when it can no longer hold it back. Then the wicked will be revealed – we have to receive the love of the truth over every lie. The truth is Christ’s sacrifice was sufficient for you, Adolf Hitler, Bin Laden, etc. Everyone on this earth! We like to believe there are evil people and good people. Why? Because we like to think we are good – pride!
- That’s why God sent His Son – because we are not good! There has never been a time in history where man has been good since Adam ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
- But God had a plan before Adam ate of that tree. He already knew what He would do that He might take away our sin. Did we deserve Jesus to die for us? No. He tells us to love those who despitefully use us. He tells us to love one another as He has loved us. Is that what they’re practicing out here? Love?
- Let us be a people who will tell other people the truth. So what if I’m a sinner? So are you! From one dirtbag to another… When you see you’re a dirtbag it’s easier to relate to another dirtbag! And you can tell that other dirtbag about Jesus.
