Subject:

• If you heard a sermon and do not remember what was said, then you are not doing the Word because we are told to know and do the Word.  If you are doing the Word then you will know what you heard.
• How much do you ask in faith, believing that God will give it to you?
• Build your house on the Rock.  The words of the Lord have power.  We are to hear AND do.
• When a storm/flood comes through what is underneath are the rocks.  They didn’t move.
• Don’t trust in any person.  Put your trust in Him, because He cares about you.
• Many who say Lord, Lord, will not enter in.  They are workers of iniquity.  Two people doing the same act can be of different motives.  We need to have the right motive, or it is a work of iniquity.
• A believer testifies of what Christ has done, not what they have done.
• Who are we to believe we can do anything?
• The Lord separates the sheep from the goats.  When you did it unto the least of my brethren you did it unto Me.
• We need to have the mindset of a sheep – what Jesus has done – humility.
• Not the mindset of goats – what they have done – pride.
• Jesus’s meat is to do the will of the Father.  People get stunted in their growth from poor diets.  When the diet improves, they become stronger.
• Jesus didn’t teach of His own self.  The Jews didn’t believe and were alienated from Him and even said they were doing His will.
• Example:  the pope:  doesn’t know Christ nor have the spirit of God.
• When Jesus was here he had nothing of worldly accolades like the pope.  He had 12 guys.
• He didn’t build the church on Peter but on Jesus Christ, the chief cornerstone, with the foundations being the apostles and prophets.
• We are drawn by our lusts and need to choose contrary to them.  Are we agreeing with Jesus Christ?
• We need power to overcome, by the power of the Holy Spirit.  By the laying on of hands of the apostles we receive.  It requires humility on our part to receive these things.  If you have only milk, you will die.  You need to go on to meat to live and continue.
• Love the truth, service, and give up your life.  Those that don’t love the truth will use these things against you.  You have to decide to serve the Lord even if no one else will.  For example, Noah.
• When things come against us it requires us to apply faith in the Lord.
• Stuff rolls downhill to hell.  We have to apply power or we will roll downhill.  We want to go upwards to our Heavenly Father.
• It is not good to take time off from that battle.
• The world is bondage.  Bury all worldly knowledge as dung.  Cast down all you know, become humble, and the Lord will bring it all back in a new way that is redeemable.
• Make a point of what you have learned today, ask the Lord to bring back to remembrance, and you will get back to freedom.
