- Our children are a reflection of ourselves.
- The actions of children toward the parents reflects our actions toward the Lord. Children will copy the actions of the parents.
- The father of a family is responsible for showing and teaching his family the ways of God.
- Be the example to your family as to how they should serve the Lord.
- To be a servant to God, or to anyone in authority over us, we need to be ready and available at all times without having to be provoked or reminded to do it.
- Take it seriously when raising a family up in the Lord. Seek Gods council and wisdom in these matters to get it right. Too often it is not taken seriously and the whole family will suffer the consequences for your lack of righteous action.
- Discipline IS love.
- Turn to God and He will meet us no matter where we are.
- Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands. Husbands, love your wives.
- Whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as unto the Lord!
