David was a warrior. When you do these things (dance like David danced, sing like David sang etc) they’re an act of war against the devil and they’re an act of declaration of whose side you have chosen to be on.
When you’re in battle you can lose. Losing a battle can be devastating, particularly for those on whose behalf you were battling.
Praise and worship is a great weapon – it’s a weapon in your arsenal against the enemy.
If you want a key and a way out, you take it to the Lord and fight to receive it.
When you are in a battle it is so easy to give up and make excuses for why you fail.
As soon as you start making an excuse you have already lost. You have to determine that there will never be any excuse that will be acceptable and you refuse to lose. That’s when you will prevail.
If you don’t have time for the Lord then you’ve forgotten the first commandment.
If you lack the will God’s promise is that He gives us the will. Philippians 2:13
You don’t have any idea how much you’re missing because your measure of serving Him is weak.
Love is helping others until they can do it for themselves.
Have you ever walked away from doing a job having the sense of knowing that it was a job well done?
If you’ve ever done a job well, and had confidence in that, you know what it’s like. When you know what it’s like to do a job well, you also know when it’s NOT a job well done.
Every day as a Christian is a battle. That’s why you have to fight the good fight of faith.
When you go after the enemy with a knowledge that you will be able to defeat him, he doesn’t have a chance.
Do you humble yourself and ask for prayer and fight through the unbelief and doubt to determine that they’re going to believe the promises of God?
When you pray and ask for healing, do you then wait for it or do you go out and do what needs to be done trusting the Lord for the healing and walking believing that He has already accomplished it?
When Jesus becomes number 1 in your life, you aren’t even on the list. Look around you, those people you see are number 2 in your life. When you put the Lord first and you start loving brethren and your enemies, you begin to partake more and more abundantly of the life of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your life, begins to look like His life.
There is nothing more awesome than partaking of His life.
I’m excited for what God can do in your life.
When you wrap yourself around what God can do in your life, embrace it in the hope that what those in authority over you hope will come to pass that it will indeed come to pass, then you’ll be glad and excited to do what you’re told by those in authority over you.
Help me, Lord, to want you above all else. Then fight for that and there’s nothing you can’t have.
There is nothing that is too small for the Lord to care about in your life. He wants you to be blessed.
