Subject:

  • Walking in the Spirit.
  • The Fruit of the Spirit.
  • Gentleness
  • We all are learning to be God’s servants, by baptism we enter into His body and learn to do his will by serving Him.
  • We must not strive which means to argue.
  • Meekness is a humility. Apt to teach, able to teach, ready to teach and patient.
  • Being apt to teach and patient, goes along with not striving.
  • God gave us repentance to the acknowledging of the truth, we ought to do the same for others.
  • The principalities and powers we are to be subject unto are the apostles, prophets etc. we are to be obedient to them trusting fully in God.
  • We are to be ambassador’s of Christ. Representing Him to ones that know not Him.
  • Out of the abundance of our heart the mouth speaks, if we allow the agape love to work in our heart what is there to speak evil of.
  • We can judge the things a person does according to the Lord but don’t judge the person.
  • None of us are above the Wisdom of God.
  • Who are we to look down upon and judge, when we have to knowledge of what God has done for us.
  • His mercy and grace is what makes up the difference for us.
  • Good fruits are the things that bear testimony of God’s love.
  • Goodness
  • We are recipients of His grace, Him not giving up on us.
  • A good recognition like David did was the goodness of God in loving him. It is the goodness in God that he loves us as well.
  • We see first all the attributes of love in God but can be also found in us through God.
  • It is important that we stand in all the goodness of God so it can be shown to those around us.
  • Sheep depend upon the Shepherd to keep them safe, we need to recognize our utter need for that same guidance from the Lord and be thankful for it.
  • David knew the word of the Lord was sure, we need to know the same thing.
  • When He checks us lets be thankful and repent and turn.
  • He has laid up goodness for those that fear God, recognizing who He is, and those that trust Him.
  • He is there for us in every situation.
  • Don’t judge His ways. They are righteous and good!
  • We trust the Lord openly where we are and He protects us and keeps us.
  • The pride of man hates the truth of the gospel so it hates those who stand in it.
  • Cory Ten boom is a great example who was changed to be able to show forth the attributes of love and bear the fruit of it.
  • When we experience the goodness of God, hold on to it and don’t let  it go.
  • Why do we turn and complain and judge and find fault?
  • We need to hold onto Jesus Christ our righteousness! Fight the fight of faith!!!
  • Nothing should stop us from ministering to others.
  • The goodness of God leadeth the to repentance.
  • It’s easy to feel safe and not recognize God isn’t bringing us to account. It stems from a place where we think we are different from other people. We have to be open to accept it or seek after correction.
  • The fruit of the spirit dwells in all goodness righteousness and truth.
  • We can dwell there as well by the blood of the lamb. If we stand because of that grace and not be tripped up. We have a new opportunity and every moment.
  • It’s not about us walking around getting people to think we  are perfect. It is showing others His grace to us which is available to them also.
  • He shows up and it is evident.
  • The goodness of God is upon all and should we give it to all.
  • Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
  • We must be immovable from the love of God in receiving it and giving it out no matter what!
  • We shouldn’t wait for others to show kindness first, we need to show kindness to them. For Christ loved us while we were yet his enemies.
  • There is no self justification at all! There is His justification which is all  we need!
  • The fruit of the spirit is the fruit of Him.
  • Let us walk as Christ walked even when everyone was against Him.
  • Set our faces as flint and endure hardness as a good soldier.
