  • Karen Hocker
  • Megan Atherton

Scriptures used:

  • Romans 14:1-13
  • Hebrews 13:7
  • John 3:16
  • John 6:44
  • 2 Timothy 2:1

Subject:

  • We tend to want a check list of do’s and don’ts.
  • There is freedom in Christ.
  • Never argue about the Word, it does not need defense.
  • Don’t turn people away because they are weak in the faith, who are we to judge another?
  • We fall short but are able to stand in Christ, He will hold us up, if we have faith.
  • When we go before the Lord, we can’t blame anyone else for any of our faults or sin.
  • It’s easy to know a thing, but it only counts if we actually do it. The fear of God should strengthen us to do what we know.
  • If we see we need grace, it’s easier to extend it to others.
  • Paul battled successfully to not be moved off the Gospel.
  • Bringing the truth is the Lord’s work.
  • God wants people to learn His ways, they are contrary to our own ways.
  • Don’t undermine the hope that God can deliver to ourselves and others.
  • Everyone will be judged by the Lord, we need to get it right now!  Christ’s blood and whether it’s on the door posts and lentil of our hearts is the deciding factor of whether we will enter in or not.
  • It takes time and grace to come into a new way, God’s way. The only way we can stand is to be strong in the grace.
