- It is a battle for many wives to submit unto our husbands, it is our responsibility to put off this flesh and choose to submit out of obedience to the Lord.
- Submit trusting the Lord in our husband. God gave us husbands for our own protection.
- A faithful wife submits herself unto her own husband.
- If we don’t obey the Lord it is because we don’t believe Him and are judging God.
- Submitting ourselves as wives unto our husbands is fit and good.
- The Lord is not going to change a husband if the wife is judging him.
- That which God calls us to do is right period!
- Trusting the Lord means we actually trust Him to do us good.
- A husband should stand and do what is right for his wife, it doesn’t mean the wife thinks it’s right. He has a responsibility to show the Agape love to his wife.
- When we come in to the obedience to the Lord, the joy comes in and the complaints of the flesh lessen.
- Children take the time to listen to what your parents say. It has to be important to hear what your parents are saying to be able to do it.
- Obedience is a testimony of faith in God.
- Samuel was called in the night at a young age, he was instant to go see what Eli wanted. There was great blessing for Samuel who was quick to hear and do. His service was unto the Lord even at a young age and not unto himself.
- To provoke is to cause one to become angry. Discourage is where we would lack hope. We need to correct in love. Fathers need to do right by there children in the Lord. Making clear what is acceptable and what is not.
- Do not discipline out of frustration but out of love.
- Servants obey your masters, recognizing that God has told you to do and sees what you are doing. There is a faith God is exercising us in with our masters.
- If we can’t serve a man we can see, how can we serve a God we can’t see.
- Have our heart set on what our employer or master would have us to do with sincerity.
- We can’t obey without first hearing.
- That singleness of heart is devoid of our own ways and being about the ways of another, how can we be about others things if we are full of ourselves.
- If we don’t hear what our master is saying and retain what they are saying then it doesn’t matter to us. We have to make a choice for it to matter.
- If we do our best and continue in that, our best will get better. Continue to exercise ourselves heartily.
- We are Christ’s servants, and our master’s commandments to us is to serve others, and if we will, we will receive the reward of our inheritance.
- Be obedient in all things, big or little. If we will be faithful in little things we will have opportunity to be faithful in greater things.
- Jesus served His Father faithfully for ungodly people. He did nothing of Himself only what the Father gave Him to do and that is a picture of a perfect servant.
- It doesn’t matter our lineage, if we do wrong we will get our just reward.
- We are all on the same playing field, all have the same opportunity of receiving Christ and the inheritance.
- Masters do right to our servants. Example used; the Centurion seeking healing for his servant.
- Paul asked for prayer.
- Manifest means it’s visible, it can be seen.
- All that is ministered rightly is because of obedience to the Word.
- We should not be slack in our prayers for those who minister. We shouldn’t take it for granted to have those ministers over us.
- Paul wanted the opportunity to minister to those who might hear, it didn’t matter if it was just one.
- We need to pray believing and watch with thanksgiving.
- Walking in wisdom towards unbelievers redeeming the time, knowing when to speak and when not to speak.
- We don’t know how many days we have, today is the day.
- Walking by grace and the blood of the Lamb, do what is right at that time for the person.
- Salt holds back corruption, the salt is truth. We need to know what to answer, we don’t want an overdose of salt just enough for that person to hear.
- We should share in the Lord and minister one to another.
- We should not join ourselves to people when they hang out in problemville, and allow them to stay there, but bring the salt, it will hold back corruption.
- Take the time to listen.
- Comfort is speaking the truth. There is a comfort in someone coming in faithful service to give the truth to our souls.
- Epaphrus prayer for the people was that they would join and do God’s will.
- Anything that the Lord gives us to do, it has to be important, not only to do it but to do it right and well. Do not be slack!
- Hearing and doing is taking heed.
- God does not give us anything that we cannot do.
- It’s not about how great any of us are, Jesus came proclaiming how great God is, we should do the same.
- The man that built his house on the rock heard and did. His house stood.
- Remember the bonds of our authorities and keep them in prayer. Remember who they serve.
