Subject:

• We can’t rightly serve the Lord if we don’t actually trust Him.
• To trust Him we have to believe that He actually is.  You’re going to believe His Word, submit to it and believe it.
• If you trust someone you acknowledge their intent toward you is only good.
• God is the only one we can put all our trust in!
• Trust is not something natural, however God wouldn’t ask us to do so if we weren’t able to do so.
• Love the Lord your God with all your heart…. this is something you have to do.
• You can’t lean unto your own understanding, we have to have a right understanding.
• There is no male or female in Heaven.
• A woman always has a male head even if she is unmarried.
• The uniform is what we receive, so if there’s no male or female in Heaven… it’s about the uniform.
• Proverbs 31 gives an example of a virtuous woman.  Ruth is the only one so-called.The definition of virtuous is:  a force, whether man, means or other resources, an army, virtue, valour (strength of mind or spirit that enables person to encounter danger with braveness), strength, band of men or soldiers, might, power, war, worthily.  These are terms women are called to walk in and she can only walk in it if she is under submission.
• The Spirit of God is not a feminine spirit.
• Make your requests known of God.  Philippians 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
• Disconnect between theory and practice:  In theory we can see what they’re saying but in practice it can escape us.  Look for the practical ways of doing what the Word says, so we can be doers of the Word and not only hearers.
• There’s a lot of knowledge, but we have to put it into practice.
• Submission involves acts we do by our own will and sometimes courage:  Submission defined is:  subordinate, put under, subdue unto, be made subject to or unto, be put in subjection to or under, submit self unto.
• We were sometimes darkness before accepting the Lord as our Lord and Savior, but now are ye light in the Lord.  In the Lord is a place of dwelling.
• If we submit He will show Himself faithful!
• Discipleship is a key
• Jesus reproved His disciples whenever necessary.
• We are to be light and allow the light to shine on us so that which is darkness can be manifest so we can get rid of it.
• Hebrews:  chastening feels grievous
• Hebrews 12:11:  exercised thereby it provides a peaceable fruit of righteousness
• Chastening is good for you, but only if you receive it!
• Part of being able to submit and obey somebody is to take the time to hear what they say.  We should hear the instruction so we can perform it correctly.  You cannot perform a task correctly unless you listen and hear what is said.
• If we judge the person who brings us instruction, regardless of who brings it, we’re not going to hear the Word of the Lord at their mouths.
• It is easy to judge a husband before he even has a chance to say or do a thing.  Judge means to try, conclude, condemn, esteem (lowly), call in question.  You can’t submit if you’ve judged the person who God has called you to submit to.  Give ear to what is being said.
• We think we know the details and because of that we miss the details.
• Be attentive to what is said trusting the Lord to deliver for us and for others or you won’t partake of the food He has for us.
• In this ministry we have right teaching and the availability of teachers or disciplers who can correct us in our wrong-thinking if we will but partake of them.
• Obviously the Lords will is something we can understand, so do whatever it takes to get it.
• Fear of God is one that we acknowledge Him and that His Word is true and then we obey Him because we believe Him.
• Let’s be about the business of receiving.
• v22… Wives submit unto your own husband as you claim to submit unto the Lord.  That doesn’t mean submitting to every man, that is a wife to her own husband as if Jesus Himself is standing there asking you or telling you to do something.
• In nature there are no two-headed animals that survive.  Only one of them survive.
