Subject:
- Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees which is hypocrisy.
- What is spoken in the bedchamber will be known to all. (Example in 2 Kings 6)
- Story of Stephen being stoned in Acts 7 and seeing Jesus seated at the right hand of God.
- When we confess Him before men we are obedient unto God and His Word and we can either be confessing the hope of the gospel through our faith or we will deny Him. Let us put off the leaven of the Pharisees and literally fear God and trust Him. We fear Him because He is righteous and we are not. He’s worthy of our trust and our praise.
- Job feared God, was a perfect and an upright man.
- The thief on the cross went home to be in paradise with Jesus.
- Delight thyself also in the Lord and He will give you the desires of thine heart.
- We are much more valuable than sparrows.
- Don’t covet the things of this world. We can trust God to provide all that we need.
- Solomon’s raiment was man-made but the lilies were made by God. His provision is better than man’s.
- Don’t have a doubtful mind – doubtful means “fluctuate”.
- It is the Father’s good pleasure to give us the kingdom.
- Be of the ground that is free of the cares of this world. Don’t be concerned about worldly things. The Lord provides.
