Don’t store up your treasure on earth. Earthly things are corrupt. You will either serve the Lord or please men.
You can’t serve two masters.
Have your lights burning and always be ready for the Master. This is a choice we make.
The Church is not the bride of Christ.
If a servant is a faithful one, he shall be blessed, and made ruler over all that he hath.
Paul was always watchful, and was straitened (pressed in the spirit) to preach the Gospel.
They that knew the Gospel and didn’t watch are the ones that will be more accountable in the end.
Jesus was straitened to accomplish His Father’s will.
Jesus didn’t come to bring peace on earth, but division. The world is fooled into thinking there can be peace, but there can never be peace between men because man’s thoughts are only evil continually. When we have peace with the Lord first, we can have peace with one another.
If we have ought against a brother we need to make it right with him first, then go to the Lord. If we are wrong we need to acknowledge and then repent.
Bring your deeds to the light that they may be manifest, wrought in God. Acknowledge your faults.
