Subject:
- Have you ever done something that you regret doing?
- The demonstration of what Jesus was about, being grace and mercy, not condemnation.
- Christians are to extend grace to others as Jesus extended grace to sinners in His walk on earth. The woman who was caught in adultery and brought to Jesus by the Pharisees was being condemned by men. But Jesus was merciful and extended grace upon her and did not condemn her.
- Jesus did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.
- The fatal flaw that lies within us all is judging others after the flesh because we think so much of ourselves based on intelligence, possessions, money, etc. We look at ourselves as being better than other people. In the flesh all we see is the natural.
- Jesus is the light of the world. He that follows after Him shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
- Jesus only did and said what His father told him to do or say. Christians are to walk as Jesus walked. So we are to do and say what God tells us to do and say. We are to be carrying out His word.
- If you do not believe that Jesus is who He said He was, you will die in your sins.
- Pride blinds people from seeing the truth and closes their ears from hearing the truth. Pride will not allow people to acknowledge they are wrong.
- Jesus always did those things that pleased God. Are you always doing those things that please God? Jesus showed us in His walk just how much we fail to ALWAYS please Him. Jesus sets a very high standard that tells us there is always more work to be done with us, and a constant need for us to press forward toward Him. He that endureth to the END shall be saved.
