Subject:
- Do you believe the gospel? Do you believe you’re a sinner, a sinner in need of a savior? Do you believe you’re guilty before God of sin?
- Many of us don’t know we’re guilty.
- Everyone’s basically good is a flat out lie.
- The relationship you have with Jesus Christ is a personal one. Knowing you’re guilty throwing that down before Him asking for His help.
- We have an advocate in Christ. Jesus will not advocate for you if you are not His.
- Realize you are guilty, don’t get stuck there, believe the gospel, believe Jesus He can bring you through.
- The start of receiving those things the Lord has for us is by that humility, recognizing you are a sinner and you are guilty that you need Him more than anything. There’s nothing that can save you except Jesus Christ.
- When you have that humbleness of mind that’s a place you can actually receive, you can receive of anyone.
- When you want to know Jesus He will reveal himself to you.
- If you’re about doing the Lord’s work is he not going to give you that which you need to do those things?
- When the truth is presented to you; do you love or hate it?
- Are you deeds evil? Have you really come to the knowledge that your deeds are evil? It’s not Him, he’s light, he’s provision, he laid down his life for you, he loves you. Regardless of the way the correction comes, love the truth. Buy into the truth of the Lord, not the lies of satan anymore, go forward in that.
- Are we there to magnify ourselves or his mercy, his love?
- Go forward as a unit that others may know the Lord. If you can’t love your brother or sister what makes you think you’re going to love those that are enemies? What makes you think you’re going to love those outside
- Magnify HIS love, HIS gospel, HIS mercy; quit making it about us.
- Do you know His command is life everlasting? If you know that then you’re responsible to be doing what he has commanded you; you’re accountable.
- Are you speaking for yourself or are you speaking for the Lord?
- You can receive Jesus Christ and in Him you have wisdom, righteousness, and redemption.
- Even if you’re willing to agree you’re base; you can enter into the kingdom, you can receive the gospel.
- He is fit to receive you as redeemer and Lord.
- Jesus is worthy; He died on the cross for your sins.
