Let those that have ears to hear, hear. Having ears to hear is an act of your will.
Receiving the love of the truth is your decision, there’s nobody in this world that can make it for you.
Do you like the truth that in me, in my flesh dwelleth no good thing?
There is nothing redeemable about you. It’s an act of your will to receive that truth. If you’re going to be set free, you’ve got to accept it.
The battle is a battle to the death. It is not a battle that ends in a day. The day you accept the Lord is the day the battle begins not ends.
Our flesh is our enemy, our mortal enemy, it wants to drag you to hell. Your flesh is sin. To think it’s something you can make acceptable to God you have got to get completely shed of that notion.
You have to exercise your will to receive truth. It is the truth that sets you free. You may not like that truth, but you have to determine to love that truth and walk in it. If you don’t, you die.
Everything about the Lord is contrary to our flesh.
The love of God is not looking for what you’re getting but what you’re giving. What you’re giving is what’s right for those people.
Do you want to be the son of God? If you want to be the son of God, you’ve got to kill, put down, give no place to the flesh.
Receive the truth and let it set you free.
Make decision based on reality and truth, not feelings.
When you come to Jesus Christ you have to come, not in a fit of emotion, you have to come with a full knowledge that you’re going to put your eyes on Jesus and you’re going to keep them there. It is then you’re fit, you won’t have to turn and look back.
If you have turned and looked back and felt you are unworthy to receive Christ, you are unworthy, but Christ is worthy and chooses to receive you. Turn your eyes on Him, don’t look back, don’t let anything draw you back.
When you make the decision to follow Him with your mind, not your emotions, then you can do it. It is then you’ll do it no matter what.
Serving Christ is a decision made with your will not your emotions.
As we choose the put our faith in the Lord He will show up.
Choose that mustard seed type faith.
When the correction comes take heed to it and go forward. If you’re still living in the flesh when the correction comes and it doesn’t feel good you’re going to turn away.
Go forward and take what the Lord has for you.
