Subject:
- Christians do not only need to read the New Testament, you need to read the Old Testament too because Jesus can be seen throughout the entire Bible if you have eyes to see.
- Adam and Eve were walking in the garden and heard the voice of the Lord walking … that voice is Jesus.
- The angels had supper with Abraham.
- Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were in the fiery furnace with a 4th man and that 4th man was Jesus.
- Paul gets knocked off his high horse and it was Jesus who spoke with him.
- John who had been blinded, heard a voice and turned and the voice belonged to Jesus, and when John turned he SAW Jesus and His eyes were healed.
- Jesus is right there, just put your hand out and reach out and receive Him.
- Hebrews 13:5 He will never leave us or forsake us … we are the ones who turn our backs on Him, but if you turn back around He is right there for you. He never leaves us.
- In Revelation 3:6 it’s talking about the Apostle over the Church of Philadelphia and when it talks about has little strength, it talks about the number of people who belong to that Church.
- The Church of Philadelphia is the only one of the 7 Churches mentioned in the book of Revelation that the Lord does not find lacking.
- We all have the ability to be a part of the Church of Philadelphia (brotherly love).
- What the Lord asks of us is easy to do if we humble ourselves.
