1 Timothy 4:1 is very important. The Spirit speaketh expressly is important for us to know that some shall depart from the faith.
This does not mean leaving the Church it has to do with leaving the faith.
Seducing spirit is something that tells you the word of God is too difficult to understand so they’ve come out with a new version that is easier for you.
In the Word a doctrine is a commandment of God that is ordained by two or more witnesses on the subject. Today it is simply two or more people agreeing with one another in spite of what is left out or what changes are made.
You depart from the faith when you no longer stick to the simple gospel message of love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. Your body can’t love God, it’s cursed (made of the dust of the earth).
The church today tells you that you must be holy in your temple which is the body. The Word of God tells us it is cursed and the wages of sin is death.
I do not want to be the tool that is in the Lord’s hand – like the paintbrush in Michelangelo’s hand – because when they are done with the tool they throw it away. I want to be Gods hand because you won’t cut off your hand.
Love God, love one another, serve Him. Take God seriously, don’t take yourself seriously and believe His word. That’s a good place to start.
