- Trade in the “what if’s” of doubt for the trust in Jesus to work out whatever needs to be worked out for you.
- Jesus came for the purpose of saving the soul not the flesh.
- Nothing is accomplished by our faith, it is Jesus’ faith that accomplishes everything. Trust in Jesus’ ability to do what needs to be done, not your ability.
- Focus on trusting God for today. There is enough for us to deal with for the moment and the day. What’s the point in taking thought for tomorrow or dwelling on the things of the past?
- It is not a burden to be serving the Lord. It is freedom from the burdens of this world. It is the rest that He offers.
- The nature and character of God is love, grace and mercy and in that comes correction that is too often considered harsh and therefore rejected. It is for our good to be turned from going the wrong way.
- A Christian needs to remember to love others as the Lord loves us or as the Lord loves them. We may think of others as being real buffoons or jerks, but remember, the Lord loves us in spite of finding us the same way as those buffoons and jerks.
- None of us are special or above anybody else in the eyes of the Lord. We have absolutely nothing to offer the Lord, we can only do that which pleases Him.
- All that a person needs to do in order to get all the things they need in life from God is to seek Him and believe Him.
- God never intended for us to live in worry about anything. Any worry you have about anything is to be given to God and then rest easy trusting that God will deal with it.
