Subject:
- Salvation by faith through grace, coupled with the faith is that of Jesus and it is hopeful.
- The nature and character of God never changes. He is the same today as He has always been and forever will be.
- Jesus always did what the Father told Him to do without ever wavering and His faith never swayed.
- God is not our servant we are to be His servants. It’s okay to ask God for a thing, but keep in mind that He is not there to be at our beck and call.
- God is not a magic wand. We are responsible to have diligence and put effort into changing our ways. God does not wave a wand and make everything better overnight.
- The grace of God is bigger than sin.
- God shows us the things in our lives that need to be corrected a little bit at a time. It is a process and takes time to mature in the Lord, just like it takes time to grow from a child into an adult.
- If we would simply believe God in all things then the issues of doubt and all things that become stumbling blocks in our lives would never come up in the first place.
- Confidence in ourselves leads to nothing but destruction. Confidence in Christ leads to victory in all things.
- You are a servant of Jesus every minute of every day of your life. There are no holidays or vacation days or sick days being a servant to Jesus.
- We can glory in tribulation because even after we fall into unbelief we experience the faithfulness of Jesus to lift us up again and again and over and over and it builds our confidence in Christ that He does not fail us.
