Subject:
- We can die to our carnal mind and with our mind/soul, we can live in Christ.
- There is no deliverance for the flesh, God didn’t die for our flesh but for our soul.
- It is a choice by faith to dwell in Christ. When we are walking in obedience to the Spirit, we are free from the condemnation that our flesh will die in.
- The law of the spirit is the sufficiency of God’s sacrifice for us.
- The wages of sin is death. Our bodies will die but our spirits will not.
- Christ came as a man and did have the choice to sin, but He did not sin.
- Satan’s design is to entice the flesh.
- Jesus looked just like everybody else, He was a common man.
- Our flesh is incapable of walking in obedience to the law so Jesus came and did it for us.
- Sin entered through Adam and exited all who will trust and believe it through Jesus Christ. He condemned sin in the flesh. We are sinners who without Christ can not be delivered from the sin. Jesus carried all our sin, because there is no other way.
- Those who walk after the flesh, are always trying to gather praise unto themselves. If we are walking after Christ, we are about Christ and others. If we walk in the carnal mind we are outside of Christ and will die in our sins.
- Our desire needs to be His ways and His service. When we go after the things of God, He will meet us and make us able to stand.
- If we are doing things for ourselves we weary, but when in the spirit, we serve others, we don’t weary but keep pressing.
- Repent means to put the thing off.
- The walk of Christ is always humbling, we are only men and women. We all have things yet to learn and we can war a warfare in Christ to come into agreement with Him and overcome whatever it is we need to overcome.
- We need to be moved by faith.
- There are two ends, damnation or salvation, it’s our choice.
- He perfectly reconciled us to Him and there is no problem on His end, we can stand in that place where there is no problem for us, also.
- We can not please God in our flesh.
- Our salvation has nothing to do with our flesh, it solely has to do with Christ’s sacrifice.
- We have to have that Spirit of Christ to serve Him. The Holy Spirit is life because of Jesus Christ and if we be in the spirit we are clothed by it.
- The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead was the same Spirit that was His Father. That same Spirit quickens our mortal bodies, it enables us at all times to serve God.
- Why do we want healing?
- Our flesh in incapable of any good thing. We can only do good through Christ because with Him all things are possible. If God says we can do a thing, we can.
- Being led by the Spirit means we have to choose to follow.
- We have nothing to fear, though we are all confronted with fears, we don’t have to give it place.
- Abba means Daddy, we choose to be adopted into His family by faith.
- The first born does not receive the inheritance, the second born does.
- It is a choice to put off this flesh and enter in, after doing so we need to choose to continue in it.
- All the inheritance that was given to Christ, those who choose to partake in the adoption, get to partake of it, also.
- If we serve Christ there will be suffering and God will be glorified.
- When we are enduring sufferings it is cloudy and there is hope but no assurance, as we choose the assurance, hope and knowledge of the truth increases.

- We are all recipients of Paul’s faithfulness to God. We are saved by hope.
- Abraham was an example of one hoping on things not seen yet he continued in hope.
- We need to not be swayed by circumstances.
- Once saved always saved doesn’t hold water, there is no hoping for things not seen or need for faith in that doctrine.
- When we accept Christ, He puts His grace on us. If we don’t move away, we will get it.
