Subject:
- Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me.
- Unlike Saul, David repented before God recognizing his own fault and not blaming others.
- If you have a clean heart, then everything of this world becomes of no effect.
- People resist the changing of their heart.
- God gave Saul a new heart and yet he kept going back to the lust of the flesh, which is the will to justify oneself.
- Lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, pride of life.
- In Psalm 73:1 it talks about how God is good to those with a clean heart. This means you go before God and get cleansed by the Word.
- Heat applied to metals pulls the impurities to the surface, where the crud can be pulled out easily. We should thank God for the heat.
- You don’t have to take a bullet to show me that you love me. You just have to love me when I’m unloveable.
