Subject:

  • The definition of ‘Lord’ and the need to ask yourself why do you call Jesus Lord if you are not going to obey Him.
  • If we love Him, we will keep His commandments.
  • If we do not love our brother, who we can see, we deceive ourselves to think we love God.
  • Let us love our Lord in deed and in truth.
  • Look to God to believe Him and seek to do His commandments.
  • We are not to fear anything but God.
  • Part of fear is worry.  God provides and you rejoice for a time and then the next trial comes and you worry again rather than believe.
  • Part of parenting is teaching your children that if you say a thing, you mean a thing.  We need to look at the Word of God that way and have faith in it.
  • Saying we are going to do what the Lord says and not actually doing so.
  • The purifying of our faith occurs when we trust Him.  It is of great value to the Lord.
  • The faith of Abraham and Isaac.
  • Isaac was a type and shadow of what Jesus did.  Are we going to be willing to lay down our lives so that others can live?  Only then can we become that body that Jesus called us to be.
  • What is faith?  How does it look?  Faith is a choice.
