Subject:
- Our faith, hope, and assurance must be grounded in Jesus and His provisions.
- When we turn our hearts and minds to the Lord then the unbelievable provisions of His love overcomes all our failures and stupid mistakes.
- God is under no obligation to do anything for us but yet He does because of the abundance of His love and grace.
- When we put our faith and trust in Jesus it really opens up a lot of opportunities for us to learn to walk in His ways.
- We often judge the outcome or the ability to do a thing based on our ability and not Gods ability.
- God will give you a testimony of how good He is if you draw nigh unto Him.
- If our heart and will is to serve God there will be no drama or fighting in our lives or in our households.
- When asking the Lord for something; are you asking for something that fits His plan and will serve Him or asking for something so you can satisfy your own desires.
- If you are a friend of the world then you are an enemy of God. Gods ways are contrary to the worlds ways.
- God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Do you want God to resist you or give grace unto you? Pride = self. It’s not about you it’s about Jesus! You receive the good things of God through humility.
- Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. To submit to God is to agree with God, giving your allegiance to His ways. Having His will be done and not your own will. When you are in agreement with God you have appropriated His authority and the devil cannot stay. Darkness can’t exist where light exists.
- Don’t “add” Jesus to your life. Jesus should “be” your life!
