- Our flesh is tied to phelios love. Our spirit is tied to agape love. God didn’t choose to die on the cross because He phelios loved us!
- Every word Jesus spoke was out of love. The word He spoke to the guy at the pool and healed him. The word He spoke to the guy who was blind – God just loved him and healed him. The word He spoke in the temple when he overturned the tables and threw them out was out of love. The word He spoke to the pharisees and called them white washed sepulchres and called their fathers the devil, that too was out of love. Those words of love do not always make you feel good because they are tied to our phelios love not agape love.
- There are 3 types of love. Aeros love – sexual love. Phelios love – how you feel. Agape love – one of choice.
- Understanding that Jesus loves you will put a different perspective on your life.
- The Church does not understand God’s love because the pastors don’t walk in God’s love.
- Trusting in riches is not about being rich.
- All we need is willingness to share the Gospel.
- Trust in God and we can do all things.
- The eye of the needle is a literal thing or else it would be easy for us to do, simply by taking the pack off the donkey.
- You cannot save yourself.
- Agape love is what saves us.
