Subject:

  • The Definition and Clarity of Baptism.
  • Speaking of the trinity of God and He is one, but with Him are the three baptisms:  the blood, the water, and the Spirit.
  • When we are baptized in the blood, it is not our physical bodies that are cleansed, but our souls.
  • In the baptism of water we reckon ourselves dead unto the flesh.  By faith we are translated by the Holy Spirit into Christ’s body.
  • We now choose with our soul to be alive unto Christ.  Where we make a choice to be dead to ourselves and actually believe God that He translates us into His body.  While we are here we dwell by faith in His body.
  • It is an outward showing of what we have done, it is not in secret.  It’s a testimony for those around us.
  • When someone accepts Jesus as his/her Lord and Savior (on their deathbed, for example) and doesn’t get opportunity to receive the other baptisms before their death, there is sufficient grace from the Lord to be saved.
  • We are now the body of Christ on earth.  We are here in His stead to do His will.
  • The Passover in Egypt is a type and shadow of the baptism of blood.  They chose Him and were saved.
  • The children of Israel crossing over the Red Sea is a type and shadow of the baptism of water
  • The children of Israel crossing the River Jordan is a type and shadow of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  • The Father performs the baptism of blood; the Holy Spirit performs the water baptism; Jesus performs the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  • As we learn to walk by faith and not by sight, we grow and are strengthened in Him.  Growing in the stature and fullness of Christ.
  • Part of the war is to know where we stand because of what Jesus did.
  • Are you not in the body if you do not have all three baptisms? No, if you desire to have all three but are unable that is sufficient. It is all three that complete you in Christ.
  • The baptism of blood is like putting on Jesus’ cloak of righteousness.
  • We baptize in the name of Jesus; the name of the triune God.
  • If you need to partake of any of the baptisms they are available.
  • Read Romans chapter 6 regarding baptism.
  • Read the above links to the website for an in-depth teaching on baptism, and scriptures referring to baptism located in the Word.
  • Mark 16 says as we believe and are baptized (in all 3 baptisms), we can then walk as He walked.
