Subject:
- Your flesh can be a god. We wake up with the old nasty man that we need to get rid of daily.
- You cannot be double minded (walking in the flesh and in the spirit at the same time), it’s not possible. You’ll either serve the one or the other.
- Our whole life we’ve known how to feed our flesh. The Lord begins slowly purging those things off us.
- The Lord has given us power over the old man, to put it off. It’s yet our choice to rather listen to the Lord or the old man.
- We’re only righteous by the blood of the lamb.
- It’s about Him and what He’s able to do, not about what we’ve done.
- The power, mind, and love all come from Him.
- You’re a sinner but God was good enough to impart the knowledge to you, to give it to others that others may know Him.
- God has a uniform on you. You don’t walk in yourself, you walk in Him by faith. Being strong in the grace is trusting in Him and His grace.
- If you’re in His uniform the enemy sees God’s son, Jesus.
- He’s given us the power to walk in. We stumble, fall and unbelief comes about us… do we humble ourselves? Repent before the Lord? Take on the grace and get back up?
- If we can remember that whatever is going on is good for us, because in Him is light and no darkness at all. If we can hold onto that truth and trust God in everything that’s going on. Watch Him honor that faith that you have in Him.
- We can glory in tribulation because it takes the exercise to be with Him and know Him. It may not feel good, but we can trust that it’s good for us.
- Be the soldier you’re called to be.
- It’s up to us to cleave to what god we’re going to listen to. Are you going to listen the Father of lights who died for us? Or are you going to listen to the old nasty ugly man that wants to drag you to hell?
- Jesus did not die for our flesh, it’s cursed and going back to the dust.
- If you’re seeking to know the Lord, have Him show up, you become a doer of the word and watch Him show up.
- Are you seeking to have the experience that demonstrates Gods word in your life? Or are you seeking to run and hide and get away with something while He’s not looking?
- If you seek the Lord, He will be found.
- Unless we turn our screwed up condition (attitudes, funks) over to Him, our whole day is going to be about us.
- We’re supposed to be loving our soul and spirit, where the redemption of the Lord is, not our flesh. If we’re not loving ourselves correctly there’s no way to love others. If we’re not loving with an Agape love then we can’t love our neighbors. You’re not really loving God unless you’re loving your neighbor as yourself.
- The Lord has a desire to show you!
- Learn to rely on the Lord, His goodness and His reliability. His word is always true, let it give you life and life more abundantly.
