Subject:
- To enjoin means to give charge, command, to direct or impose by authoritative order with admonition.
- We are commanded by the Lord to pray, we need to do it urgently in obedience to Him. It is easy to not take heed. A command is something we need to take heed to.
- The way to go from self esteem to confidence is to pray.
- Avail yourself of the tools on the website and pray while doing so.
- Encourage people to read this chapter. It is admonishing the people to do the Lord’s work. It will strengthen us to do so.
- These verses are an intricate part of prayer. When the words seek or prayer come up there is also worship.
- A right starting place is to get on your knees before the Lord and worship Him and acknowledge His mighty love and seek His face. Making your requests be made known unto God. The peace of God shall surpass your heart and mind.
- The difference between praying in the flesh is the brass ceiling. You can’t get up in confidence knowing He hears us. If we pray in faith we will have confidence He hears us and it strengthens us.
- We need His strength to keep us. Joshua relied upon God’s strength and not his own.
- We interact with people and ourselves, prayer is the way to handle everything; relationships, struggles etc…
- When you avail yourself of God to help you then you seek Him to help another it joins you together in the battle.
- Daniel an example of a faithful prayer. He continued in it and His Lord was his everything. Daniel had the confidence in His God while facing death for their refusal to worship anyone but their God. The only way we are going to have that is by doing the same thing.
- Prayer is one of the most powerful tools God has given us.
- Watch and pray, be awake and be watchful. The only way our spiritual senses will be developed is through the watchfulness in the Spirit.
- As we know we can pray that He gives us the will to do His good pleasure, one of the things of His good pleasure is to pray.
- Asking also means beg, it’s a matter of it being of utmost importance to you, that you want it that much.
- It is easy to assume you will be accounted worthy to escape all the things coming and to stand before the son of man. Praying is really a beseeching for that grace that we may be accounted worthy.
- Abraham was accounted worthy because he believed God.
- It is by prayer and beseeching the Lord that we will come to that place to do His will. Daniel believed God therefore he would not be turned from Him.
- Praying prayers that the Lord will answer and say yes to: If you want it to be ask and it shall be given you, you need to know what to ask for. Get in the word to see what is pleasing to Him. One of those things is to ask that you be a wife who walks in obedience and submission to your husbands. One of the greatest tools for that is prayer and praying for your husband.
- Lot cried unto the Lord day and night and the Lord heard him.
- Faint is to grow weary. Pray to be strengthened.
- You may have to pray a lot. Are you willing to pray a lot to break through?
- Hannah prayed and received the answer in faith. She made a vow and kept it. We also made a vow when we accepted Jesus, when we pray that he would give us a heart to do His will, to love Him and one another, prayers that set out desire to have the things of Him. It is something to seek God for always.
- God says to pray in the spirit because we need all the things He has given us, prayer is the starting point or the launchpad.
- Pray and ask Him then begin thanking Him for it. That is knowing that God will answer no matter what we see.
- We look for answers that satisfy our flesh, but the answer may come in a different way. To believe God and to hold on to what He has said and what is promised it takes force sometimes. If we will use that force we will be able to stand.
- It’s not about if you feel like it, it is a commandment. These are things that will lift you up out of a situation that you may go forth in Him.
- When realizing we are how we are because of our sin. That is acknowledging we are wrong. We cannot lay our sin on anyone else. He will show us these things and walk us right out of them. It is an easy place to place blame on anyone else.
- Faults may be small or large, confess them one to another and pray one for another that ye may be healed.
- Mustard seed faith. If we will have that faith and persevere to become of that faith. If we will pray in accordance with His will we can come to that same confidence that Elijah had. Prayer is one of the greatest spiritual weapons we have.
- Ask, seek and knock for as long as it takes.
