TFM-TexasSpeakers:

  • Richard D. Eutsler, Sr.
  • Bob Hicks

Scriptures Used:

  • Matthew 8:5-13

Subject:

  • You can find faith falling short when you let things invade your thoughts. All of it comes from faith, whether you have faith in the world or if you have faith in God.
  • You keep faith in God by daily rebuking the outside influences.
  • The theme at all the services today was to love one another.
  • Charlie had a good thing to say today (http://www.thefishermenministry.net/sunday-vt-3162014/) when he was talking about the woman at work who had a devil.  He was praying for her deliverance and that the thing would shut up, but realized he wasn’t praying because he loved her but because he love himself.   That was very interesting that he would see that.
  • How often do we pray for people not because we love them and want good for them, but because we want them off our back, or because it is for us not them?
  • Faith, which is what we have to operate under, won’t work without love.
  • Faith without love won’t work and love without faith cannot even be.  You must have both, you must have the love and you must have the faith. Together they work, separate they fall short.   Faith without love won’t work and love without faith cannot be.
  • The Centurion knew that Jesus’ word would work because he understood authority.   He knew that because he was under authority he could say to those under him to do what they were supposed to do and they would do it.   He knew that Jesus, being under the authority of God the Father, could speak a thing and it would be done.   What motivated the centurion was that he loved that servant, cared about that servant and wanted good for that servant, and he went to Jesus.
  • Let’s have both, let’s walk in it.  Look around and love one another.  Amen.
