Subject:
- There will be no excuse for not receiving salvation. God has offered and put in place all the things necessary to have it. If we don’t get it it’s our own fault.
- Having a fear of the Lord does not cripple you. It will heal you. It is the beginning of knowledge.
- Falling into the hands of the living God is a fearful thing but it is a safe place to be.
- Submit yourself unto the Lord to do what is of His good pleasure. This is to receive His promise.
- Being obedient often times requires choosing to do what needs to be done when you don’t feel like doing it. Put off what you would rather do and do what is asked of you.
- God proved His love for us by giving His life for us while we were yet sinners. In spite of our wretchedness He still gives us a chance. That is the grace and glory of God.
- Jesus does not ask us to do anything that He didn’t do. If He could handle anything that happened to Him, so can we because we have access to the same Spirit that He had.
- If you cease from doing your own works and do the works of God you will enter into His rest.
- You must work out your own salvation between you and God. No one else can do it for you or put in a good word for you. You’re not going to get into Heaven riding on the coat tails of someone else just because you know them. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
