Subject:

  • Finances.
  • We can find ourselves letting finances rule us instead of trusting the Lord for our provision.
  • Be watchful for unbelief and choose to trust the Lord. We want to be those that don’t let our finances rule us to be steadfast in the Lord to provide.
  • Line yourself with the reproof coming from the word of God and His ministers. To regard reproof is to have the faith and trust the Lord that He knows just what you need. To not be in poverty and shame.
  • Doesn’t mean there aren’t struggles, all those who trust in the Lord are provided for. It may not be what we think it should be, but is sufficient. If we will trust the Lord in all things the Lord will prove himself, He will show himself faithful.
  • Lift everything up to the Lord. Trust the Lord for today and tomorrow. The Lord will provide whatever we need to do what He has called us to do.
  • The Lord’s abundant life is there for us, it’s us that don’t take it because we get caught up in this life. If we being evil give good gifts unto our children how much more our Heavenly father give to us? Why get hung up on what we see when we have a God who provides out of what we can’t see?
  • God’s provision is there when we need it. His provision is wonderful. God is tender to His children and loves to give them things that are pleasing to them. He has already shown everything He does is for our benefit.
  • If we continue to be faithful to Him, He will continue to be faithful to us. We should expect Him to keep His promises. That is belief in Him. We don’t minister and move forward in the Lord  because we have the funds to do so but because we trust the Lord in His provision.
  • How often are we called to do something and don’t do it because we don’t see  a way to do it financially? If you do not obey the Lord, why would you expect Him to provide what you need.
  • If you want to prosper in the things of the Lord and push forward in Him, believe his word. Too often we don’t do what is told us to and then find ourselves not prospering. You find yourself not believing. When you don’t it’s your own fault.
  • Prosper means to push forward or break forth. Isn’t just relevant in financial situations but many other things. We are called to go over the river Jordan which is the body of Christ and standing in that. Taking our place and going forth in what we are to do. We will not prosper if we don’t believe what is spoken to us. We have it available when we need it.
  • Desire to believe!
  • The prosperity we claim to want is to prosper in the Lord and His ways and be that fruitful tree.
  • Esteem what He has to offer as more than the things we let get in the way.
  • Servants job was to do what the master said but the master’s job is to take care of the servant and that is how it should be with us as the Lord’s servants and He as our master. We have to believe he will never leave us nor forsake us.
  • Covetousness is wanting what you don’t have. when we are doing this we are not trusting that the Lord’s provision is enough for us.
  • Contentedness is to be satisfied.
  • Lift your desires up to the Lord. Leave it with him and trust Him with it.  When you leave things with the Lord and you are able to be content it is peaceful. He doesn’t forget. He provides our needs but He also provides some of our wants in His time. He knows what would be a blessing to us and when it will be. If is something that will be a blessing He will bring it to pass.
  • It wouldn’t be loving if a parent didn’t put restrictions on a child. Often time it is the child that holds the blessings back. And that is how we our with our God.
  • He is the most important thing. If we do put Him first he will add all the things we need unto us.
  • The only way to have His life in abundance is to take His word at what it says and do it. Be those sheep that hear His voice.
  • God has pleasure in His servant’s prosperity. It is something to have an expectation for.
  • We fall short on doing our part, believing Him and taking Him at His word. Battle for faith and you will stand. If you don’t it falls on your shoulders. God doesn’t call it to be there. Cast all your cares upon Him, finances can be a care. Only way to get great faith is through exercising it.
