Jesus came for the people who could receive His gospel, the publicans and sinners, who recognized their need for a Savior. The church leaders, the Pharisees, were too proud and content with their own religion to hear.
Who’s agenda are you looking to support? The Lord’s or your own?
You cannot serve God if you are looking to serve yourself or the physical world. Satan is the ruler of the physical world. Seek God and His kingdom to serve Him and all things that you need to do so will be given unto you.
Jesus is not only for the entrance into the kingdom of heaven but for the eternal life. His word is everlasting. God’s word is Jesus.
If you have given your life over to the Lord your life should look a lot different than it did. If your life is still the same way that it was then you need to check where the disconnect is.
The book of Acts is an example of what it looks like for Christians to go forth with a new life in Christ. Look at how different the Apostles operated in Acts compared to the Gospels when they were just starting out as babes. This shows the growth that should be evident in those who are continuing to seek God.
God gets the Glory in all good things that happen. People do not get the glory for what God does. It is the power of God that moves through a person or for the sake of people. People do not have the power of themselves to perform miracles.
You must work out your own salvation between you and God. No one else can work it out for you nor can you do it for anybody else. You are also not saved by association, because of who you know or by what church you belong to.
It is not natural for a person to enjoy be corrected or told they are wrong but being corrected in the Lord is a must, and whether you like it or not you must get over it because it is a blessing to you if the Lord corrects you so you can learn to get it right. It is actually an extension of His grace and mercy upon you because He loves you and doesn’t want to see you continuing down the wrong path.
Some churches will teach that God Himself chooses who our political leaders will be and we should respect them as such and give them all we have so they can decide what to do with it. Satan is in charge of the kingdoms (governments) of this world as Jesus says in Luke 4:6. God is NOT responsible for the wicked, corrupt, and chaotic system of politicians that are failing to serve the people and serving only themselves.
