Subject:
- There is a difference between being obedient and submitting yourself to an authority. You may do what you’re told but if you do it with an attitude and grumble about it your not operating in submission.
- Trust God to guide you and show you how to do a thing you are given to do even if you have no clue how to do it.
- God and those He put in authority gets the blame all too often when things don’t work out. When it really comes down to you didn’t follow the instructions you were given. You thought you had a better way and did your own thing.
- You can say you know God when you know His ways.
- Submit yourself to the authority God placed above you because it’s about serving God not yourself.
- God will not do something unless it confirms His Word. God is not there to confirm you and your way or opinion.
- To repent of something is to change your mind about what you’re doing and turning away from your wrong way of doing things and start doing the right things of God.
- Don’t put your confidence in yourself and your ability but put your confidence in Jesus and His ability.
- If you preach anything other than God’s Word don’t expect God to move in any situation.
- People have greatly lost the desire to keep an oath they have made. A mans word no longer has any honor today.
- Accountability for words and actions should be before the Lord first.
- Make a choice to agree with God’s Word.
- Choose to serve God no matter what comes against you, or who comes against you even if it will cost you your life.
- Not a good place to be finding yourself fighting against God. Not believing God and His Word is fighting against God.
- There is no life in any mans word but life is in God’s Word.
- Calling Jesus Lord means that He is your Lord. Your life is under His authority. Your life belongs to Him to do what He wants to do with it.
- No one but you is at fault for your unbelief.
- God not only gave us His Word but gave us examples of people who walk it out so we have no excuse for not seeing it or believing it.
