Subject:

  • Most of us look at somebody like Paul or any of the people we might look at in the Bible and somehow think it’s different, that they always were standing in the kind of thing that we experienced at the convention, but it’s not the truth.  They made a choice to continue to stand and go forth and it wasn’t based on any kind of feeling really, like we experienced, great worship and ministry where you just walked into the chapel and the Spirit of the Lord was there, but the Spirit of the Lord is still here and we have to be about His business even though we don’t necessarily feel like we did there.  It’s really a choice.  Every man and women who served the Lord did it because they chose to, not because of anything else, and that choice came from the fact that they actually believed Him and went forward in it.  That’s what God is asking of us, that we believe Him and take that which we did receive, not suddenly think we didn’t or maybe we did something to lose it and continue to press on knowing that that which He has given us has in no way departed and to use it.  It’s really an act of our will and doesn’t eminate from anything in our natural man that supports it and we’re used to listening to our natural man and we have to choose to know the truth instead.
  • The truth testifies against our natural man.  Choose who you yield to … the natural man or the spiritual man.
  • We need to sign the DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) on our old life and the old man and live only in the new man.
  • There is no reason you have to miss out on what we heard at the conference … click here to listen to the messages we heard in Texas .
  • Focus more on pleasing God and less on disappointing Him.
  • Don’t be hearers of the Word only but doers of the Word.
  • Holding on to the old man holds us back from moving forward in the Lord and doing His will.
  • The right attitude to have about serving God is being diligent about never giving up.  I will continue to try and try until I get it.  Do not accept anything less than victory in the Lord.
  • It is impossible to please God without faith.  You must believe that He is and that He will reward those who diligently seek Him.
  • Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;  and lean not unto thy own understanding.
  • Do you remember a time in your life when listening to your flesh resulted in anything going the right way?
  • What God is looking to perfect is our faith.  It’s a process we must allow to take place.  It does not happen overnight.
  • Count it all joy when we fall into divers temptations.  Glory in tribulation also, knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience hope: and hope maketh not ashamed (disappointed).
  • When we put our faith, trust and existence in God’s hands, that is the most sure place we could ever be.  God will never fail you.
  • Trust in the Lord, and do good; and He shall provide for you.  Don’t worry about what other people are doing.
  • Believers are called to minister.  They minister from the time they wake up until the time they go to sleep.  If you are a believer the question is…  Do you minister life or death?  Not only through our words but more by our actions.
  • If you mix obedience with faith miracles will happen. If you put unbelief with doubt you will not succeed in the Lord.
