Surrendering your life to Jesus is freeing and provides deliverance from the bondage of the things of this world.
Lying to people to get them to like you is idolatry.
You cannot serve two masters. You are either serving God or yourself at any given moment.
To operate in the love of Christ is about telling people the truth which in turn will create friction between people because the truth testifies against all of us. How will a person know the truth if you won’t tell them?
Do not reject the correction of God. It is necessary for the purging of pride from your soul and for you to move forward in Christ and be rid of the garbage you hang on to that holds you back.
The Lord will scourge those whom he has received as a loving father to teach what is right for our good with the end result of peace with God.
Our laying down our own lives to serve Christ is how the Gospel is manifest to people so they too can know Jesus Christ and have the opportunity to live in and through Him.
The commission Jesus gave to His disciples to preach the Gospel to the world was not only for them but the same for all who would believe His gospel even today.
Jesus saves sinners and it does not matter one bit who you are. All are sinners and need saving. This is true of you and all men regardless of how you might see and judge others as being less or more worthy than yourself.
You are not saved by church. It makes no difference what denomination you belong to. You are not saved by denominations. You are saved through knowing Jesus Christ.
