- Out of the furnace of my affliction, I have chosen thee. That is where most of us come to receive Christ because we realize the situation we’re in or our lives are not what we want them to be so we seek out help from a higher being or something better.
- Scott talked about meelie mouth Christians and the witness they are to others. Meelie mouth means wimpy or weak. Babies in the faith who never grow up.
- Steve talked about every element of our lives needing to come under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
- We should desire to have words like faithful servant of Christ or Christian as something that is said of us, not that we are meelie mouthed.
- We must endure to the end … simply turning to the Lord is not the end, it’s the beginning of a marathon.
