TFM-AZ-Church-ServiceSpeakers:

  • Rick Eutsler, Jr.
  • Sue Eutsler

Scriptures Used:

  • Romans 7:14 to Romans 8:4
  • John 3:15-16
  • Romans 13:1-2
  • 1 John 1:4 to 1 John 2:4
  • Romans 6:1-2

Subject:

  • In Romans 7 and 8 Paul is expressing how desperately he wanted to be rid of his old man.
  • The Lord gave Paul the deliverance.
  • We are ultimately delivered by the death of this body.
  • Paul realized he didn’t have to wait for deliverance, He could have it on earth by walking after the Spirit, not after the flesh.
  • To not demonstrate the proper reference and respect is insubordination.
  • High-mindedness is to think yourself better than those over you.  When you think that way, you also put yourself over God.
  • Romans 13:2 – Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
  • Insubordination in the military can get you kicked out of the military.
  • To disregard what the Lord has given you will be worse than insubordination in the military, because the end is damnation.
  • Confess your sins to Jesus, not to a priest, and He promises to cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
  • Confession is a complete admittance of guilt without reservation.
