Subject:
- In Romans 7 and 8 Paul is expressing how desperately he wanted to be rid of his old man.
- The Lord gave Paul the deliverance.
- We are ultimately delivered by the death of this body.
- Paul realized he didn’t have to wait for deliverance, He could have it on earth by walking after the Spirit, not after the flesh.
- To not demonstrate the proper reference and respect is insubordination.
- High-mindedness is to think yourself better than those over you. When you think that way, you also put yourself over God.
- Romans 13:2 – Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
- Insubordination in the military can get you kicked out of the military.
- To disregard what the Lord has given you will be worse than insubordination in the military, because the end is damnation.
- Confess your sins to Jesus, not to a priest, and He promises to cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
- Confession is a complete admittance of guilt without reservation.
