Believe God. Doubt the doubt.
God’s Word is NOT deficient. It’s perfect in every situation! The deficiency is in the ears and hearts of those who hear and who choose not to believe.
The world and church are so fixated on trying to fix that which is condemned already – this flesh.
People hold onto anything they believe to justify themselves.
Brother Rick told a story about using a DB meter to measure the volume of sound emitted when shooting air rifles and the fact that the measure moves. He compared the DB meter measure to the Word of God. Jesus is perfect love all the time, when you trust in Jesus, you get that measure – perfect love all the time. With God the measure is the same, choose God and you win every time.
Submit and obey. Submit is to give yourself entirely without reservation.
You’re going to serve 1 of 2 masters. Through the grace and blood of Jesus you have the choice to choose Jesus. If you’ve got 2 choices, it’s not like the elections, where you vote for the lesser of 2 evils and you still wind up with evil. With Jesus you have perfect righteousness.
Love, grace, mercy, perfect righteousness – that’s Jesus.
Death, hell, destruction, turmoil, torture, separation from God – that’s satan.
It’s a simple choice, but execution on a daily basis takes trusting Jesus.
