We must make war against EVERYTHING that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ.
Highminded means proud, to be lifted up in pride.
Philippians 2:3 says “…in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.”
Trust in the Lord with ALL thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Beware of those who come in claiming to be Christians. Not every “Christian” so called is a brother in the Lord.
Some shall depart from the faith. Not some shall depart from the Church. Departing from the faith is different.
The most powerful thing about the power of God is that His grace is sufficient for ALL your sins.
Those who want to remove the power of God or deny the power thereof want to deny the power of God’s grace.
First place of accountability starts with you.
Repent before the Lord and be willing to draw the same line in the sand for others.
You cannot have your life and live in Christ.
The contrast between King Saul and King David is incredible.
- King Saul picked by God and he sought to blame others for his disobedience.
- King David had a heart after God. His devotion to and faith in God were perfect. He repented for his sin instead of blaming others.
God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
You have to draw a line in the sand for anyone to know they are a sinner in need of a savior.
Humbly come before the Lord.
