Subject:
- We must make war against EVERYTHING that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ.
- Highminded means proud, to be lifted up in pride.
- Philippians 2:3 says “…in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.”
- Trust in the Lord with ALL thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.
- Beware of those who come in claiming to be Christians. Not every “Christian” so called is a brother in the Lord.
- Some shall depart from the faith. Not some shall depart from the Church. Departing from the faith is different.
- The most powerful thing about the power of God is that His grace is sufficient for ALL your sins.
- Those who want to remove the power of God or deny the power thereof want to deny the power of God’s grace.
- First place of accountability starts with you.
- Repent before the Lord and be willing to draw the same line in the sand for others.
- You cannot have your life and live in Christ.
- The contrast between King Saul and King David is incredible.
- King Saul picked by God and he sought to blame others for his disobedience.
- King David had a heart after God. His devotion to and faith in God were perfect. He repented for his sin instead of blaming others.
- God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
- You have to draw a line in the sand for anyone to know they are a sinner in need of a savior.
- Humbly come before the Lord.
