Speakers:
- Steven Atherton
- Scott Stevens
Scriptures used:
- Galatians 3:1
Subject:
-
Focus on the good things God has done for you rather on unbelief.
-
Our natural tendency is to complain about how hard things are regardless of how good things are.
-
Rejoice despite the fact that your flesh is not in agreement with that.
-
Believe God wants us walking in joy and thanksgiving.
-
Everything He did on the cross is sufficient for us today.
-
Choose to be thankful.
- Anything you do that denies Christ, I.e. Adam and Eve to today points to the cross.
-
If you keep your focus on the cross you are humbled.
-
There is power in the cross to transform your life.
-
We receive the blessings of The Lord not because of anything in us, but because God is good.
-
The Lord quickens us when the true Word is heard with faith.
-
We labor to believe God. Labor against unbelief.
-
As long as we “feel” justified in our position, we are robbed of the joy we can have in Christ.
-
You walk in it by the hearing of faith.
-
His mercies are new every morning … There is nothing that can justify you being held back?
-
Put off those things which justify you.
-
You can minister the Gospel unto anyone once you recognize you are no better than anyone else.
-
Humble yourself and then humble yourself and then humble yourself again.
-
We like to feel righteous and good, we don’t like to recognize the sin in us.
-
It makes no difference what you feel like , and when you can recognize that you can walk forward in faith in Christ Jesus and how good He is!
-
When Stephen was stoned, He saw The Lord and the stones did not bother him, he was joyful.
-
We rise above, by The Lord Jesus Christ.
-
Newness of life is His promise to us.
-
Stand in Christ Jesus where the circumstances around you cannot move you.
-
Everything people would use against you, God can turn to minister to others.
-
If a drug dealer could believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ and cast out the demons in his apartment building, why is this not possible for you or me to believe His word and minister?
-
Jesus came to save the ungodly.
