TFM-South-CarolinaSpeakers:

  • Phillip Walthall

Scriptures:

  • Romans 8

Subject:

  • The weeds in your heart start to rise up and it’s a good thing because if they’re left there they can kill you.  When you apply Him, those things start to break up and come out.  If it comes up the Lord can purge it and get rid of it.
  • Accepting Christ as your savior is your beginning.  The Lord is faithful and just and He will begin to show you the areas in your heart that are not of Him.
  • What is it that you really want to do?  Do you want to go about doing the Lord’s thing?
  • Love the truth even if it testifies against you.
  • You cannot save yourself, it’s because of what Christ did that you are saved.  He has given you a new mind, a new man.
  • What are you after?  Are you after the things of the flesh?
  • If you are about glorifying Him you do those simple things He has set before you.
  • What pleases the Lord is that you believe Him.
  • For you to enter into that new life divine you have to kick the old man out.
  • Receive the new man, the mind of Christ.  The victory is there we just have to walk it out.
