TFM-South-CarolinaSpeakers:

  • Paul Muller
  • Phillip Walthall

Scriptures used:

  • Matthew 18:23
  • Romans 12

Subject:

  • Extend grace to one another. We have been forgiven much. How can we hold anything against anyone when we’ve been forgiven? (It’s not the same when we hold them to account with something that’s standing between them and the Lord.)
  • If we’re not forgiving others as we’ve been forgiven, we’re in bondage to that. We put ourselves in bondage when we don’t forgive, we’re absolutely useless for the Lord and his gospel. Become like the Lord and forgive one another.
  • Prefer other people over yourselves.
  • Every man has been given a measure of faith, what are you going to put it in? If you commit it to Him, submit yourself a living sacrifice (knowing you need to be transformed).
  • You give not with an expectation of return but because you can give.
  • Be willing to be inconvenienced because a brother needs you.
  • If you want His forgiveness you want to be able to forgive. Don’t hold the bitterness in your heart.
  • His word cleanses you and keeps you clean.
  • If you cast all the injustices and things that have been done against you onto Him, He’s going to take care of equalizing the scales of justice. If you can trust Him for your salvation, then you can cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you.
  • The way to overcome evil is to do what you know to do that it is good. Be bold enough to make that decision. You won’t learn how to do anything right unless you attempt to do it, even if you get it wrong. You can’t teach something you don’t know.
  • The Lord is good.
  • Believe it, receive it, obey it.
